James D. Morrissey, Inc. a Heavy & Road Construction, Ready Mixed Concrete, Asphalt and Aggregates Company with quarries and plants in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey they contracted 1 Sky Media to develop their new web presence. The project involved more than 100 pages covering the three areas where this 85 year old company does business. The finished website design is modern in style and coded using HTML 5 and CSS. The coding is responsive and the website automatically configures itself for optimal display across desktop, notebook, PAD and Smartphone platforms.

The site contains a WordPress blog to facilitate weekly postings of company activities, new projects and other news. Fully integrated with social media channels LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ the blog automatically shares new posts directly on each channel. The entire website is connected with share this to encourage visitors to share JDM’s information easily on their own social media accounts with the objective of expanding the websites reach beyond the search engines well into social media channels where it can directly reach past, present and future clients.
The site features a full interactive employment application for ready mixed concrete mixing truck drivers including a pre-screen to insure the applicants’ qualifications meet company standards. It also features an interactive credit application that emails details filled out by the applicant along with terms and conditions to both JDM and the applicant for their ink signature.
The project included on site search engine optimization and an ongoing campaign planned to propel the site to the top of search results in all of their markets and expand JDM’s reach in social media.
